Встреча учащихся 10-х классов
с американскими студентами

     В ноябре в нашей гимназии состоялась встреча учащихся 10-х классов с американскими студентами, приехавшими в Россию изучать русский язык. Мероприятие проходило в формате круглого стола во время которого все присутствующие сумели познакомиться, поговорить на двух языках, исполнить песню и сфотографироваться на память.

     Наши десятиклассники, рассказывая о традициях гимназии, продемонстрировали высокие навыки владения английским языком, что отметили американцы.

     В благодарственном письме руководитель американской группы написала следующее: "Thank you so much for organizing the visit to Gymnasium #399 and welcoming our students on Saturday. They truly enjoyed the opportunity to see this real aspect of daily life and spend time with students in the school. It is an important part of our programs for our students to understand as much about Russian culture and life as possible, so this "insider" look is exactly what we want our students to have. We were all very impressed with your pupils' English and positive attitudes. Thank you for taking the time to prepare a thoughtful program. The students also enjoyed having lunch at the cafeteria; I, myself was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was!

     Our students have many organized interactions with their peers, but they all said that this school visit was actually their favorite activity! These opportunities for Americans and Russians to interact and share culture and traditions are so important to help increase understanding and improve future relations. We would be happy to work with you again and will contact you when there is another possibility."
